Since the mid 1980s European Structural Funds have been delivering life changing regeneration to the people of Staffordshire. Over £100 million has been channelled to tackle the social and economic dislocation caused by the collapse of the county's old industrial base - coal mines, pot banks and steel forges.
In just 20 years we have seen a transformation - with the grime and dereliction replaced by a new wave of creative energy and high tech innovation. New industries and employment opportunities are generating a bright future.
