Communities Mean Business Project (LEADER Programme)
The Staffordshire Communities Mean Business project is funded through the Rural Development Programme for England LEADER approach. It is a £1.4million area based community regeneration programme which will operate until December 2013.
The programme has been designed to enhance the vibrancy and sustainability of rural communities through the provision of improved local services and community facilities combined with the conservaition and upgrading of the natural and built heritage. It delivers against the following RDPE measures:
- Basic Services for the economy and rural population;
- Village renewal and delivery;
- Conservation and upgrading of the rural heritage;
- Training and information
